Three college slackers, Anderson Lee, Cory Jones and Nelson Elliot, plan a good time away from their college by heading out to Daytona Beach for Spring Break. But along they way, they get detoured into the small, off-the-map, town of Pleasant Valley, Georgia, where they, along with three drifters, Joey, Kat and Ricky, and biker Malcolm and his girlfriend Leah, are welcomed as guests of honor by the cheerful but sinister-looking Mayor Buckman for the annual Pleasant Valley Guts and Glory Festival. Unknown to the eight unsuspecting Northerners, Mayor Buckman and the residents have more in store where they plan to use the festival as a blood ritual by separating the guests and killing them off one-by-one in ultra-gory fashion.

This .... This film .... This movie was the worst movie I have ever seen! He was terrible. The plot was not so silly that it was funny, it was so stupid that made you mourn out just in agony because of the sheer stupidity. Man, I would prefer to see "House of the Dead" which this movie. And that movie was bad! The only positive thing about this movie, is the breasts. But what is that some of them .. Its such an idiot. Stupid. bother! I do not understand how someone can make a film as bad as this. and I can not understand why people that this film stars 10 .. They must be drunk! very drunk! You say "oh that is a genius," etc., but this is a work of idiots. There is absolutely nothing positive to say about this movie. Negative effects, bad sound, bad acting, bad dialogue, bad plot, bad twists and ending the worst I've seen.

After a terrible spate of remakes that we have in the past, something that will go down in history as a classic of all time! 2001 Maniacs is a nonstop thrill ride and with the masses of respect to Mr Lewis, Tim Sullivan has done a great job.I am a big fan of the original is understandably a little apprehensive when I heard they were doing this movie.Believe me there is no need to worry about is an awesome movie! There are a lot of blood and guts to keep horror fans happy and we are certainly watching this comedy induced.When I found myself enjoying no doubt as much as the original without any doubt.Whether is released in cinemas uncut I do not know, my fingers are crossed! I wonder what could come .... possibly the next Feast of Blood? I hope so. Does anyone fancy a spit roast?

I saw this movie because I am a big fan of the genre, but this is not really all the way. It's like a kind of "the house of a body of 1000" and "Devils Rejects" light version, trying to use Englunds Kreugerish fresh style. Some scenes were quite unpleasant and the end was good. If it had been 14yo probably still would have liked more, because of the splash and some nudity. But, as I have aged a bit and this movie has a long way to go to reach the level of evil / mad / Hardcore-freaks of the master and doctor Spauldings demons friends. If this film was directed by Rob Zombie could possibly had a chance. So if you have not yet seen the House from 1000 a body rejects or Hell, do yourself a favor and see the place (unless 14yo and give their right arm to see some boobs, then you might see for such as a too) Chinea, Japaneeees, dirty look theeeeese knee .........
