Los Angeles police sergeant Roger Murtaugh, who has just turned 50 years old, is assigned to investigate the death of Amanda Hunsaker, a prostitute who is one of the daughters of bank president Michael Hunsaker, a friend whom Roger has known since they were in the Vietnam War together, but Roger hasn't seen Michael in 12 years. Beginning with this investigation, Roger is assigned a new partner Sergeant Martin Riggs, who has been suicidal ever since his wife Victoria 'Vicky' Lynn Riggs died in a car crash in 1984. Riggs and Murtaugh's investigation of Amanda's death reveals that she was murdered. Upon hearing of this, Michael tells Murtaugh that he would like for whoever is behind Amanda's murder to end up dead, like Amanda. Riggs and Murtaugh's investigation continues and it makes them the targets of Shadow Company, a group of former Vietnam War era mercenaries who now bring heroin into the Los Angeles County region. Shadow Company's leader, General Peter McAllister, and his right hand man, Mr. Joshua, want Riggs and Murtaugh dead, no matter what the cost.

Lethal Weapon is the first of a series of films that were all good. Richard Donner did a friend of action image that everyone can enjoy. Mel Gibson and Danny Glover were good in the role of lead and the action sequences are first class. Kudos to Gary Busey for doing a great evil.

Lethal Weapon (1987) *** 1 / 2 Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, Gary Busey, Mitchell Ryan, Tom Atkins, Darlene Love, Traci Wolfe. One of the best action / comedy / buddy film of all time with Gibson as Loose Cannon Maverick suicidal Martin Riggs police did not coincide with Roger Murtaugh (Glover in a great comic role), which is constantly reminded of his age and the danger constant in that: The solution of a drug-related murder of a friend of Murtaugh's daughter. Busey is memorable as a mercenary albino, Mr Joshua, unsusceptible to pain. Some great stunts and lots of excitement thanks to the helmsman Richard Donner (who also sequels).

Feeling this action-packed drama is second only to Die Hard At best action movies of all time. Mel Gibson character is, however, the best in the long history of the great action movie charecters. 10/10 see that as soon as possible, even if you've seen before. Yes, just that good.

Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are two of a kind! Many action films are typical and predictable, but this was original and fun to watch. I think especially since I was thinking of Mad TV parady of this movie, which became more enjoyable. I am waiting for the sequel and know that it is Joe Pesci in the third one! : D It's so cool! OK, sorry, I know that people are not going to find this comment useful, but this stupid system requires ten or more lines. Therefore, anywho. Yes, sorry, I can not get a lot more. Trust me, I've seen this movie. But how can some users of this website to write more than two paragraphs? It's crazy. No, I think it was ten lines. 9 / 10

Lethal Weapon I've seen more than 100 times and just keeps getting better! Mel Gibson plays a crazed policeman who teams with a family of police (Danny Glover). First, it can not stand each other, but as the film rolls along, with just this kind of bond. I'm sure most of the people or the whole world has seen this wonderful film. You do not have a lot of action and violence. I love the chemistry between Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. And who could forget, Gary Busey, Mr Joshua, a very appropriate role for the wonderful actor. He could not have been substituted for that role. Nobody could have done a better job than Busey. Go Gary! I love the final! One of the best scenes montage in the history of cinema. I also admire Gibson Busey and doing his own stunts, and the study of martial arts, just to make 4 nights of filming a scene of the fight against the cult of this excellent film. This is definitely a winner! If you have not seen this magnificent film, then I strongly recommend that you do! Great movie!
