| Stephen King is widely considered a great writer in the horror genre. So when the big American company decided to adapt Secret Window, Secret Garden, it was hyped to be a milestone in the career of Johnny DEPPS. | SPOILER ALERT * * * * SPOILER ALERT While my dad and I were driving to the theater, I asked about the rumor on the "Secret Window". I told him we were going to see Johnny Depp get terrorized by a man with a big hat. As you know, any movie with a bad guy in a big hat has to be good. It is a film of the law. He agreed with my assessment and is willing to see the film. "Secret Window" is not a huge sombrero film but it is a great exercise OK hat wearing terror. Depp is suffering writer's block. It's in misery. A guy in a large sample of a hat to tell him he has plagiarized his story. "You stole my story. It is not yet over." Depp arrives at a group of people who help him with his big hat problem. In the end, Depp will have to make a final against the hat. You'll have to see the movie to find out who wins. I've often thought about the hat makes the man. "Secret Window" proves that point. In reading in this movie, I see that it was originally a short story. That makes little sense because "Secret Window" felt like it should have been a "Tales from the Darkside" episode but had spread to movie length. Fortunately, Johnny Depp proves once again that he is the man for saving "Secret Window" high hat of mediocrity. 6 / 10. |

| Widnow secrecy may not be the best movie in history, or more in depth and mystery secret film ever, but it does capture the attention of their viewers. Johnny Depp has always been strange in the movies, in fact I can not think of a 'normal' one. This in spite of a favorite movie can be almost to a point. I will not say what it is the end of bat that is what made the movie for me. The movie is a bit predictable, and could guess almost all the time about what will happen next. Even though the last ten minutes were playing, I knew what was coming, but it's the way it unexpectedly becomes a different direction from what we thought it would. The ending made the movie, I can not say enough, he knew what he was part of it, but how it was resolved was something that was rarely seen in movies. This film should be seen if you enjoy an unexpected end, but it was too predictable, there's something different about him. It is not necessarily a turning point, but damn near anything that most of the films pass. |
| Mort Rainey (Johnny Depp) is a writer having trouble reaching an idea. Finally, it comes with something. The only problem is, a strange name Shooter (John Turturro) accuses Mort of plagiarizing. Of course, Mort wants to prove himself innocent - but then that's where the film becomes evident as a story of Stephen King. You can never trust yourself again after seeing this movie. Movies like "Secret Window" (and "Edward Scissorhands," "What's Eating Gilbert Grape," "Ed Wood," "Sleepy Hollow," "Chocolat," "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl," " Finding Neverland "and" Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ") displayed why Johnny Depp could be the most exciting actor of his generation. Maybe someone could have given the Mort were mannerism that displays, but Depp makes his usual impressive spin on it. After watching this movie, you might want to think twice before even attempting to write anything. |
| I saw the premiere last night and enjoy the movie, but there was a comment or two. Firstly, I am biased. I have read most of Stephen King of major works (including Secret Garden, Secret Window) and have never liked the "writer as the protagonist of" Ballad stories like this or the flexibility of bullet or half dark. However, I thought that each of the actors (except maybe Maria Bello, who is fungible) did a wonderful job with his characters, especially Johnny Depp, who added a three-dimensional depth quite a character. John Turturro is so chilling, but not have much to do. Neither Charles S. Dutton, but remains a pleasure to see (I am a fan). Timothy Hutton does not do much except Glower, but interacted well with the other characters. Lots of laughter from the audience to small peculiarities by Johnny Depp, his hair, and his dog (Blue Heel Livestock Australia or dog, sure). It is not the best film, but a good adaptation of SK. My companion liked it much better than me, though. I get 3 / 5 and gave 4 / 5. |
