| I found this DVD film 88 Minutes to see a dark, depressing experience. Not because of the horrible script, acting emotionally incompatible crass (including Mr Al Pacino, I'm sorry!), Banal but-predictable plot (complete with serial number of pieces - someone has a checklist) or even painful because of the inept leadership but because they reminded him that there is a part of the DivX Movie 88 Minutes industry out there ready to make movies and terrible news of this type for a quick buck and willing to throw A-list (ISH) of talent its sad level in the process. 5 minutes in this DVD movie 88 Minutes you realize he's lost his share of rent for $ 5 and feel the life being sucked out of you. Then you begin to wonder how to make films like this need to take? They do not intend to make a turkey? And if not, why not someone (for example, screenwriter, director, Soundman, mobile caterer, etc.) at some point and stop saying "Hey guys, this thing we are doing here is absolutely wettingly-pants, teeth - gnashingly, DVD-snappingly terrible curse? | The almost universal negative reception of this 88 Minutes movie is puzzling. It's a tight thriller with a quick bit of writing complex. This complexity is perhaps what all the professional challenges of the respondents / "journalists" or perhaps oppose some of the scenes of violence. It is not incomprehensible or extravagant. At least not more than most films these days (I-VIII SAW anyone?). Pacino plays a womanizer and recognized forensic psychiatrist whose testimony condemned a serial murderer who warned him during the trial. On the day of the death penalty is the murderer who carried out, Pacino receives a mysterious call that takes 88 minutes to live. At the top of the feds are after him because of the incriminating evidence that the killing of the girl had a one night with the night before he was killed in the same MO as the serial murderer operation. Pacino races to see who is killing the woman again and that is after the threats, while trying to maintain that the serial murderer to be executed and is not granted a stay. Alicia Witt, looking incredible, it's one of his loyal students who are helping along the way. Unlike what others say, this DivX Movie 88 Minutes is as exciting as it sounds and as the preview promises. Pacino shines as always, and the large supporting cast (Witt, Forsythe, McDonough, Sobieski, of course) do a solid job as well. Once again, the plot is not overly complicated or incomprehensible, is not filled with dozens of possible villains, but it requires attention. A must see for fans of Pacino and anyone looking for an entertaining movie. |
| This DVD movie 88 Minutes is so horrible that I have seen up to half of waiting for a "Home" - the plot, characters, and the overall tone to begin to make sense - before realizing it was never going to happen. As another viewer commented, Al Pacino looks like a smarmy old geyser support perpetually fawning pseudo-model 20-something girls in his wise eyes or the eyes. It's pathetic. The plot is completely irrelevant and so is soft and formulas. The images are very blue, gray, depressing and unpleasant support the overall visual experience. Do not waste your time watching this, no matter how big a Pacino fan you are. I do not know why did this movie, but it is definitely not worth the time you are no matter how boring! |
| This is a terrible movie, but I think it is unfair to blame Pacino. I can only assume that the contract could not break away from this evil design, poorly drafted and, with the exception of Pacino and Benjamin McKenzie of the OC, poorly acted film. Alicia Witt has to be the worst actress I've seen in the film. She is so totally false and I was wondering if robotic maybe had a little lobotomy before filming. I used to wonder why she was not more things - now I know why. Leelee Sobieski is not much better, whether it is managed and it would be unconvincing as a shy student and completely incredulous as a cold-blooded murderer. Still can not believe that this DVD movie 88 Minutes Pacino. He does his best, as always, but even the best of the best is not a change to save this turkey. When I think if I were to burn the negative and try to forget what happened. |
