| I loved this movie, and I follow. I've seen about two or three times a day over the past two weeks! Sad, I know, but it is great! And Pride and Prejudice after studying at the school, Colin Firth is so beautiful! It will always be Mr. Darcy, and will never be replaced. He plays Mark Darcy so well, and as Helen Fielding wrote about his character that makes it much better! Daniel Hugh Grant plays excellent, with its English-style bad boy, it's great! He is fun, and a wonderful actor in this film. I'm glad he was chosen to act in this character, I do not think anybody could have done so well! |
| For the sake of the hundreds of people have already mentioned, I love this movie. It's very simple, incredibly funny! Now, come to my (few) reasons for non-standard enjoy Bridget Jones. First, it was directed by a woman. Very, very few films (attention sometimes it really shock you!) And thank you very much to see a woman and successful promotion of women to succeed through their subject. Then how Bridget sees men. Did you ever get tired (very, very tired) to see the camera slowly slide to the rear of some star? Was not the most refreshing thing in the world when the camera slowly crept up to Colin Firth in the back? You do not want to stand up and applaud? I certainly did not! Finally, it was a Bridget Jones's Diary Drama film that shows the joy. So many movies are so exhausted. Even many comedies that have only to walk with dignity, doing his thing and hope to sell more tickets - but this was a DVD film Bridget Jones's Diary with heart and soul and joy and humor. I would even go so far as to (gasp!) Said that improving the book. This is one of my favorite comedies of all time, and every time I see it, just get the happiest, most gracious smile on my face. | Bridget Jones' Diary is undoubtedly one of my favorites of all time. Renée Zellweger as Bridget performance is exceptional, his accent is very credible (the best I've seen since Robin Wright in "The princess bride." Oscar Renee performance is certainly worthy!). And Colin Firth aka Mr Darcy is magnificent, which makes the Bridget Jones's Diary Drama movie even better. Ha: comedy and romance, which is my kind of movie. I would say that is the best Bridget Jones's Diary Drama of 2001! Both the Bridget Jones "books are outstanding, too! Are your self .. to see this movie, you will not regret it! |
| After all the hype this DVD movie Bridget Jones's Diary received when it was released, I was almost hoping to find a masterpiece of comedy that has redefined the meaning of comedy. What I found was a slightly funny and very nice story of a 30-something woman (Renee Zellweger) who tries to be unique in finding the right man. The stereotype bothered me a little, the idea that only Bridget can not live a happy life unless and until he found his man. Zellweger was good in a performance that is not really all that much demand in terms of ability to act - the idea that their performance even be considered for an Oscar is something I just do not understand. I'm not saying it was bad, just that the paper does not ask much of it. A strong supporting cast including Hugh Grant as Daniel and Colin Firth as Mark - Bridget rival love interest - helped move along the story. How to enjoy this Bridget Jones's Diary Drama movie depends on what you're looking for. If you believe the hype that is going to get less than they expect, but if you just go with an open mind you will probably find this a fairly decent movie. Overall I was a little disappointed, but this kind of effort as a 6 / 10. |
