| I'j is not a big fan of thriller plays (and I acted in it), but well done, with excellent casting - especially Ms. Hepburn and Mr. Arkin delta, well supported by Mr. and Mr. Crenna Weston, beautifully illuminated by a large body of music and threatening, Hepburn was the last Wait Until Dark Drama in nine years and should have won the Best Actress (nominated), and Bonnie & Clyde pick to win all other categories (acting-wise) , starts up and then withdrew .. ROBIN MARION and until nine years later. Anyway, most stage-play thriller do in the movies, but this is very claustrophobic and credible because of Hepburn (who studied with the blind for a while). Turn off the lights .. as they did in the last 8 minutes in the theater when it opened en'67! |
| I've seen this Wait Until Dark film pure "despair" - I could not find any films that I wanted to see or that I had not seen before, which just ended in the canal was in this film. It was destiny! What a fun thriller! If you have not seen Audrey Hepburn in a Wait Until Dark Drama movie and see this "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and that * * really appreciate her talent and beauty. It is also mentioned Alan Arkin. I have read that the critics did not like his role as the heavy in this Wait Until Dark movie when it was released, but personally I think it is great - and kitschy intimidate the same time. This Wait Until Dark film is based around the suspense perfectly. There is a pause or stop a drop that is! Moreover, this is a final touch and a classic suspense / horror graphic element that has been done many times since then, but not so good! Balance: 4 1 / 2 out of 5 Jiffy |
| Never in my life have I seen flying 800 people from its seas, as I did the night I saw wait until dark cinema in 1970. And I was there with them. Moaning out in shock. Shouting! (and I do not shout) ............ In the period before the final 20 minutes of DivX film Wait Until Dark management coup lobby doors, turn off all lights in a hallway by an entire film, and presented the volume; Creepiness waves washing over the audience and then .. .. .... Whammer! The noise of the audience, shouts and the shift in our seats ..... I heard no noise as a surprise that in cinema since. Do yourself a big favor ........... get the DVD and watch at home, alone, in total darkness! You will scream their heads and tell everyone you know what a great thriller this is. |
| Great little gem that, for the most part, is the test of time very well! Audrey Hepburn is beautifully cast as the blind woman victim of three perverted. Alan Arkin is truly terrifying as the leader and his performance here as number one on the all-time big-screen villians. Young masterfully handles the pace. Sequence is not really longer than it should. Henry Mancini used a nice, quiet scoring that creates the proper tension as the Wait Until Dark Drama movie is based on his classic confrontation. My favorite Wait Until Dark Drama film is, in my opinion, the use of lighting in the final sequence. Charles Lang uses a creepy, dimly bright red-orange light to illuminate the apartment after Suzie has destroyed all other bulb. The effect is a shadow, and the nightmare quality of the scene seems to have been filmed yesterday. When you think of David Fincher here reworking the original concept of Panic Room, is actually a flattering comment to wait until the light and still held their power to cool. It is also amusing to think that with all that impressive photography and film, the Wait Until Dark Drama movie does not have nearly half the tension of this classic 1967. |
| At first I thought this Wait Until Dark Drama movie would be only slightly from hold, but how was I wrong. This is a very intelligent film. I was very struck by the careful attention given to even small details. Everything in this Wait Until Dark film just fits perfectly .... the pace, setting the general mood, how one thing leads to another .... everything. The director of this Wait Until Dark movie has done a great job. Of course, what this Wait Until Dark film is not given the excellent performances by its cast. Who knows that Audrey Hepburn, one of the ladies class of the twentieth century, would be so appropriate for a thriller like this. She plays a blind woman, and she is so right for this part. Its performance is remarkable .... I can not picture any other actress of the day in that role. Also, Alan Arkin is impressive, playing a psychotic murderer. For the most part, this DVD film Wait Until Dark contains some impressive moments that will make you jump. Definitely wait until nightfall to see this DVD movie Wait Until Dark .... turn off all lights and see if after midnight can be for a greater effect of suspense. |
