I did consulting work for ten weeks last year in Hyderabad and Mumbai on a contract with IBM for BellSouth. (Having trouble with your BellSouth DSL? Plan to talk to "Rocky" in India.) This DivX film Outsourced brought warm memories of such a wonderful country and its wonderful people. In the opening scene at the airport in Mumbai with its marble floors and white walls dirty ... filled the crowd waiting outside (I had a reunion with me in white at 4:00 hours after flight from Orlando to Detroit to Amsterdam to Mumbai to Hyderabad, amid the hundreds of brown faces crying out for attention) .. . a small three-wheeled jeeps careening through the streets ... the wonderful pictures from Victoria Station and the Gateway of India ... the joy of Holi. Not to mention the call center agents! This Outsourced Comedy film (and the howls of laughter from the attendees at the 13th Annual Film Festival in South Asia, here in Orlando at http://www.enzian.org/) made me want to pack up and come back tomorrow. "It makes me knowing again!"
I am not a fan of romantic comedies, especially the "Friends", and because I think it is pasteurized too politically correct. I thank God there are some good romantic comedy with a spice that tastes great for me and this Outsourced film is an example. Basically the show is a sad clash of cultural center in the U.S., call the manager sent to India to form a team of outsourcing. It's nice how this Outsourced Comedy film shows how the pull of passion is the meaning of life in different place and culture. I'm from Brazil and the U.S. I know some people who come here to visit the country and decided to stay and adopted the lifestyle of Brazil. This DivX Movie Outsourced shows very well that to happen. If you want a good Outsourced film to see when you are depressed with their work, a selection of this ... and prepare to be eager to travel to an exotic place after it ends.
The Outsourced film won warm applause after its heavy influence in the International Film Festival in Dubai last night: the audience, a mix of Europeans, Middle Easterns, and the Indians, the shower and the director and lead author of the actress questions after the show. I admired the end (spoiler ahead): hit the "bindi" on the front of the George Washington - a subtle invitation to a critical eye on what drives the work (and inevitably life) that the DVD movie Outsourced is not designed to cope with head still ilustrada all: after all, put the missing piece is no stranger to Seattle. It is also noteworthy that both authors are not India: Mumbai asking my native friends from reality, only confirmed the capture of the Outsourced Comedy made a good realistic picture of what India is like. At least explored corners. Very impressive research efforts of the two authors. It would be a shame if this DVD film Outsourced does not spread to more theaters in more tests in more countries: while it may seem a marketing challenge in a monochrome world, you can definitely have many supporters among those who actually go and see him. It would be great for working in the broadcast by independent non-conventional means to track its success: Are we about to witness a new revolution in DVD film Outsourced marketing? I can dream, but then, I neither India nor in America, I do not see how one should be quite good to enjoy this excellent work.
One of the happiest surprises of this year's International Film Festival in Toronto was this lovely, beautifully shot comedy, which is not only funny and moving, but in fact offers some ideas about Indian culture as well. Josh Hamilton is great as Todd, a businessman who is less than thrilled to learn from his office in Seattle is going to outsource the job to a call center in India. It is even more disturbed when his boss made it clear that Todd will be in charge of training the Indian workers in an efficient order, while they sound as American as possible, which is important since the All-American markets knickknacks such as flags in miniature, hot dog toasters and Wisconsin cheese hats. The culture shock is nice and it played beautifully written. This has the potential to be another My Big Fat Greek Wedding, if handled correctly. I hope so. I've been a big fan of Hamilton for years and deserves a great success.
First, the bottom line: "Outsourcing" is a fantastic DVD film Outsourced that deserves a wide release in Hollywood, despite the lack of a famous actor. Why? It's just that good. Finally a feel good Outsourced Comedy movie about something hardly anyone in the U.S. feel good about: outsourcing. Vi "Outsourcing" in its debut at the Cinequest film: Outsourced festival in San Jose, and the public response was simply overwhelming. It's fun, intelligent, romantic and able to do all this while teaching valuable lessons about Americans living in a globalized world. Go see THIS FILM! My prediction is too optimistic Outsourcing will be the next "Big Fat Greek Wedding" ... If Hollywood gets to look beyond the lack of a big name actor. -M. Bigler
