When a serial killer indicates that his next target is the Miss United States beauty pageant, the F.B.I. decides that they must get an undercover agent as a participant in the contest. A search uncovers no suitable candidate other than a bumbling female agent (Sandra Bullock). Reluctantly, her captain (Ernie Hudson) agrees to let her join the team working the case. The team is led by a womanizing agent (Ben Bratt) who has an apparent reluctant attraction to Bullock's character. She enters as Miss New Jersey, replacing a contestant who was discovered to have acted in a porno film. The pageant managers (Candice Bergen, William Shatner) are immediately aghast about the agent appearing in the pageant, but arrange a top handler (Michael Caine) to come give her a quick makeover, with the expected outstanding results. Unfortunately, she still is bumbling. When the killer is suddenly caught, everything seems to be over, except the female agent tries to convince her boss that something is still not right. She has discovered that the pageant managers are being dismissed after 21 years for younger people, and Bergen's character may not be as solid as she seems on the surface.

This was a very, very good movie. Well worth the time. Sandra, as we all know, it's amazing actress and she shines once more in this regard. I could not think of a better person to play their role. It was great. This film: Miss Congeniality was fun, I could not think of anything bad to say about him. I want to see again and again.

I was looking for a silly DVD movie Miss Congeniality to take a break from reality. This worked very well:) Sandra has done a great job of moving from a working-feminine gal almost perfect princess. Their interaction with Caine was hilarious and the best parts of the film: Miss Congeniality .... even infiltrated the event with pizza and beer and another reunion of girls around her like Pavlov dogs is what I want to continue believing in the "historic tour" Even my (albeit self-proclaimed) macho husband enjoyed.

"Miss Congeniality" a comedy with little in the middle Bullock plays an FBI agent who has to go undercover as a beauty contestant. Bullock is finally in his element in this movie: Miss Congeniality that has a keen screeplay, an intelligent script with a lot of "call back" and a good supporting cast. Bullock A must see for fans and fun to watch one of most others.

How can Michael Caine did not win anything for their performance as Victor? He nearly steals the show and seems to have produced more focused in their role as characterization rarely seen in any film. What a shame and it is not surprising that the producers could not get him for the sequel. Mr. Caine provides a best supporting role and was overlooked for their efforts. At the end of the film, someone who needs to convince some of Gracie back inside the hotel for his "farewell" as a surprise and, of course, Victor was the one, the only logical and credible to convince a Gracie Back inside. Victor had a lot of knowledge into the Pageants, as well as the "inside" the policy of the Pageants, and applied every ounce of brilliance Gracie transform into a "full of women and their self-image of a member Support team. Victor character was so vital to this story without it would not have been the contestant Gracie, a crucial cog in the wheel of this movie.
