| Spoiler ~ ~ edition of Anchor Bay Chudan (Metro cannibalistic humanoid inhabitants) is a classic monster movie with an urban exterior and interior a very sandy. It has a good story, cool looking creatures and a lot of familiar faces. These faces are John Heard, Daniel Stern, Eddie Jones, a veteran of gender Frankie Faison, an unrecognizable Jon Polito, and even John Goodman. There is an originality to the film as well. I really like the way the story is meeting so many angles, the Conference of the Parties, the cook, the photographer and reporter. There are bad elements as well (there is always). The first is the scene of the shower towards the end of the film. What the hell was that? The girl pokes her shower drain, blood spews from around the world, cut later and she is well, not to mention again. That scene makes no sense whatsoever. And it has a really poor ending. There is a line about the trucks are rigged to explode, so you really have to pay attention. If not, when the truck exploded, he was disoriented. There is no real solution to the situation, either chudan. We are left to believe that all died only in the sewer. All this negative stuff going on in the last 20 minutes, however, so the good part is over evil. Overall, chudan (and I'm going against the grain here) is well-made B-movie. |
| I've been a big fan of this film for many years (I love the 80s genre films). Just this weekend I bought the DVD and is seen. To my surprise, I found this version of the film to be about 7 minutes longer than my VHS copy (an old original rental). There are 4 new remarkable scenes, the original ending is placed in the center of the film and the end is different now (no hint of a sequel). The extra scenes explain Bosch master of erratic behavior in the last 15 minutes of the film and gives the movie a better flow. If you are a fan of this film, make me think that pick up the DVD, as this new version is even nicer. It also has commentary by the director, screenwriter and the three main actors bill. Highly recommended for collectors of DVDs out there! |
| Chudan is one of those movies that should be bad because his subterrainian the field who are residents of cannibals living in a poor area of the city of New York. There are no big stars in the movie, however, John Heard and Daniel Stern is not well Nobodies. The budget for the film was obviously limited, however, despite these potential criticisms, I was pleasantly surprised after seeing this movie. This is a wonderful film full of tension, good action, a careful script, witty dialogue, and some creatures that certainly seemed pretty scary to me. The basic premise of the film is that homeless people living beneath the earth have come into contact with radioactive materials that are transformed into hideous mutants, which seeks to go on a rampage and kill women and men for dinner. The creatures seem impressive. This film also throws some social commentary into the mix as well as in relation to the ever growing homeless problem, and the storage of hazardous wastes. Everything was very good with Christopher Curry stand as a police officer and George Martin apparently as a city official in charge. Well here! |
| This film is a perfect blend of bad writing and a plot Cheesy. Somehow, the performance was decent and managed to scrounge up Daniel Stern and John Heard (both of whom who were in respectable films before this). There was also a cameo role as John Goodman. It is a great movie. It's like a bad dream, and you can not admit to liking, but admit it, you do! You can not go wrong with people living in the metro and people eating monsters left and right because of a problem of toxic waste water according to New York. |
