He's just been promoted and is about to propose marriage to his girlfriend Rosalind (Catherine Orr). But that all changes when Rosalind is murdered before his eyes by a professional hitman. While tracking down her killers Kevin finds himself chased by mob hit-woman Tessa (Kristy Swanson), his co-workers Junior (Antonie Kamerling) and Mr Ficks (Serge Henri Valcke) and the police (Thom Hoffman). Burke's mentor and employer Karl Jorgensen (Derek de Lint), enigmatic though supportive, seems to hold the key to the mystery.

One of the worst movies I've ever seen filmed. The camera was lousy, the screen is tilted to the left _All_the_time_. The colors were horrible, there is only one or two scenes that were not filmed with a blue filter. Even if you can get used to the blue screen, the stroboscopic effect that his every action scene (my hypothesis is the lack of budget) _will_ turn your stomach. Obviously there was _not_ any budget for special effects, other than the effects get if you buy the $ 100 el-cheapo-fastforward/slomo-mixer. The fight scenes lack a sense of choreography, that is, you only see when the full-shot scenario 2 "fighters" are walking slowly around each other, the only "contact" shot are extremely close. The same applies to almost all the tricks / shooting scenes. At least the story made sense, in the way that most B-rated action / thriller flics have a story line. Pity, however, that the actors do not really have a chance to show what they can do (see above). In conclusion: If I were you I leave this "straight to video production" right down on the hiring and VIDEOSTORE platforms Jackie Chan "Who Am I" in place.
In Rotterdam, where Kevin Burke (Skeet Ulrich) is promoted to head up a multinational investment bank, goes to a hotel with his girlfriend, the bank's executive Bremmond Rosalind (Katherine Lang), and propose to hold her to marry him . But Rosalind is murdered in the room, and blind rage, Kevin seeking revenge after the direction of his boss and mentor Karl Jorgensen (Derek de Lint). "Alma Murderer" is a horrible film, in fact, a festival of cliches. The story is incredible and totally ridiculous surprisingly, the characters are not well developed and the viewer does not know who they are and their motives, the camera seems to be shooting a video clip from MTV, the choreography of the fighting is horrible, with many cuts and exited. I have seen some of Dutch films, but this is surely the worst. My vote is three. Title (Brazil): "Soul murder" ( "Soul Murderer")
Some in this movie: Soul Assassin is a thing called a plot. Many, like the Soul Assassin film "The Candidate," but with an Italian Shoot 'em up to the last. I saw this because I am a fan of Skeet Ulrich, was turned off almost as bad but managed to hang on until the end. Take care of it, has continued to flash backs that do not add anything and only time. Cut out all the manure and the Soul Assassin film would only run about 30 minutes.
The name of Soul murderer and has little relevance to hide the true fabric of the film, the actors have a nondeveloped characters hollowfeeling them. The plot and the argument is waterd out by an abundant use of flashbacks fottage in stating that no upset to continue developing the story, and was spiced with exessive gunfighting. The so-called "bad guys" are on the verge of complete lack of cerebral gray matter. The director of photography and the director of the Soul Assassin Action movie sometimes seems to forget that it is a thriller that was shot, not an MTV musicvideo by exessive use of strobe effects fottage and has no relevance to the movie. The only good thing is the end, when you desided to throw all the rules of "good vs. evil" classic films. That's the only reason. Skeet Ulrich did better in JOP Chill Factor. It is by far the worse Soul Assassin Action movie I've ever seen. No Soul Assassin Action film I've seen in the genre of the conspiracy was so bad, I thought that X-Files DVD movie Soul Assassin was bad. I now know better.
I saw this DivX film Soul Assassin in a screening in LA recently and really enjoyed the style shooting, fast-paced, cool editing, soundtrack and all the funky history surrounds you. This Soul Assassin Action movie gives a strong sense of what little has become the world. Located in a multinational corporate world with the backdrop of old, beautiful cities and local industries raw Holland, Kevin, and workers in America is confident in the battle of his life to keep his soul alive. A great fusion of Hollywood action and independent film.
Absolutely beyond a brilliant performance of Skeet Ulrich as a man trained to be a hit man for a crime corporation, there is not much to recommend this movie. It is not as terrible as some reviewers said - below the striking visual effects and is not an old suspense thriller. Unfortunately, the producers were clearly buying another "Bourne Identity" and the director, probably a meth-addict, had seen too many John Woo movies. I mention this because although I have seen the pursuit bike stunts - all too clearly established by the editor in place to prevent the crew - I thought of Jackie Chan from persecution in motorcycle wonderful "Project A" and I thought, 'Gee, that's what this Soul Assassin movie needs - Jackie Chan, John Woo no. John Woo, but the influence here, and Woo is a stylist from the arc, to imitate what you have to have a real schmaltzy original plot, but going below the style, and while this DVD film Soul Assassin has a sentimentality, does not originality to speak of. There are obvious references to Hitchcock and Stanley Donen, of Samuel Fuller "Dead Pigeon on Beethoven Street" and a dark thriller based on a novel by Alistair MacLean, "Puppet on a string" - blatant because the originals are much better and, certainly do not need this kind of "tribute." I will not say this is a bad thriller, and some are entertaining enough. But intends to be much more - which is a disappointment.
"Alma Murderer" tries to cover up the lack of substance and the deer and the effects hyperkinetics, nice try but no cigar. Shallow, transparent, contributed, and simply stupid. Malkin hopefully get a real job. Pass. (D-)
This Soul Assassin Action movie should never have done ... maybe that's why I literally burned by the projector in its first screening in Cannes. The idea of time to be a cold and lonely Soul Assassin movie is well ... just do not follow this color Soul Assassin film by the time starting from the wheel to the blue side. Definitely time is not the whole movie, either blue. What happened to make films that made you feel rather than just watching film. Well thats how you feel ... like having your hand on his babysitter as she tells exactly what is happening on the screen (or perhaps it would be a blind performer). The story is dull, has already been done, and unrealistic. Perfect formula for films that go straight to video.
