| Not enough rarity of this kind in the world. I rated it a 10 because it is perfect in its imperfection, like Ed Wood was. Come on, the type made "Plan 9" to mourn aloud. How perfectly horrible that movie? Landau as Bela Lugosi was impeccable. Johnny Depp was his usual amazing self strange. What is there to say about Bill Murray that has not already been said? Sarah Jessica Parker was not very bright as the airhead a girlfriend / wife. Frankly, I just can not find anything wrong with this movie except that it ends. I just wanted the rarity of go on and on. |
| This is probably my favorite Tim Burton movie because I was incredibly unhappy love Ed Wood movies and appreciate a bio-pic of this king of Dreck! Having seen BRIDE OF THE MONSTER, Glen or Glenda, Plan 9, OF THE NIGHT AND GHOULS jail bait, I was absolutely thrilled that the stories behind these films was finally brought to the screen. In addition, it was a great thrill to see the behind the scenes work that made Ed mad to get your horrible films made. It also helped that Johnny Depp played the character with so much energy and sincerity. Moreover, even helped that the producers had great difficulty playing the odd group of stock characters from the film timber. Of course, Martin Landau has a lot of attention (and an Oscar) for his image of Bela Lugosi, but the rest of the characters were so close that it was chilling. Plus, I admired that even the sets of clothing and had died as well. Instead of just making fun of the Wood of the horrible race, the film is more than a loving tribute to a man who made rotten movies that somehow are still very attractive - that their movies to be viewed as a cult film Garbage classics. Nice and perfect in everything and really a wonderful time capsule. |
| This was the Johnny Depp movie that should have been nominated for! It was incredible! And seriously, this movie deserves much more than just makeup and best supporting actor. "Ed Wood" is a tremendous movie that all movie fans will love. It has humor, drama and romance. The thing is, I had heard a lot about Ed Wood, and was curious about what life was like. My sister recommended this movie, and I think we could steal it. Just kidding! But it's worth not only a watch, but as a good buy. Everything about this movie is perfect. I do not think that there is a way you can change to make it better. I recommend this film at any time. Especially if you want to learn about the nuts and interesting life "Ed Wood". 10/10 |
| The time and efforts of the Director's getting worse, Ed Wood, have been well recreated in this film, and performances by Johnny Depp as the title, and Martin Landau as Bela Lugosi are very significant and clearly earned the second best Supporting Actor Award. Depp seems to be capable of assuming the most outlandish of roles, and not only them, credible, but it really memorable, and we very much the case in "Ed Wood". It is possible, even likely, some of the events described may never have occurred, but it's entertaining and gave it a good idea for the Hollywood of the time. I was more surprised to see Bill Murray and Sarah Jessica Parker to be cast, and in his little "weird" that the functions carried off very effectively. The end where the movie reveals what happened to all the characters to a conclusion very interesting. |
