| ... and "Run for the Money" is not much doubt in the car scenes, plot, script, actors, special effects and jokes. Well known (to call them would be a great exaggeration) actors and actresses such as Christian Slater, Darryl Hannah and Val Kilmer simply rubbish performances. I had a couple of laughs, but only because everything is hilariously poor - and only gets worse and worse as we move forward. I can not believe that nobody ever wanted to finance this. A more appropriate title would have been "run in the money." I 2 - simply because it made me laugh twice, albeit for the wrong reasons. |
| Most of the comments on this film, in cash, claiming that this is the worst movie: Run for the Money ever, and nominal charges for people who have a "1". I swear I have no idea what the hell everyone seems to have perfectly good against this film. They have to expect something completely different, which I frankly do not see how it is possible. The DVD sleeve is pretty upfront about everything. This is not a big-budget Hollywood action Run for the Money Thriller and, cripes, that is not meant to be! It is a low-key drama with interesting characters, situations and humor. And good players. And yes, it directly to video, features a DVD film Run for the Money or television. So what? It is possible to do good stories in that format (and in this budget), as well. From the moment I started to look hard cash, I had fun. Not for a single moment anywhere in the Run for the Money Thriller made me stop being totally dedicated to the history. I liked the characters and dialogue and action. I had nothing against the car and boat pursued by a small budget I thought it all looked very good. The characters are well developed, the story flowed smoothly, with every detail is important. Lots of fun. This is a DivX film Run for the Money that normally had a rate of 7 to 7.5 in 10, but only because everyone hates that I will climb to 8. God, it burns my ass when people just completely shit all decent, entertaining, well-written Run for the Money Thriller film with good characters and all kinds of performances. Why, I oughtta ...!!! |
| The DivX film Run for the Money was not very good but what really distracted me Sofia (Bulgaria) trying to see how New York. Another sign that there was not much money to support this project (we have tried at least Toronto). Of course it is not at all like NY, for the entire film: Run for the Money that was trying to guess what in the world that was filmed (rightly assumed that it was in Europe). Hannah Slater and deserve better than this topic 'full of scenes seen in films and not so great. Certainly not the best actors and their surroundings, but the other numbers are holding together this lame attempt of a movie. |
| I do not know why so many people have written negative reviews of this movie. I thought it was very exciting with all the twists and original heists. I hear people complaining about the false background scenes during the persecution, so that, like Pulp Fiction, but didn't hear anyone complaining about that! The pace of the film: Run for the Money never stops, and has some very funny scenes, especially the small and dwarf the Russian mafia. The last scene is a classic! He was not so bad, it did not defer to the movie. Daryl Hannah is looking hot for her age, and Christian Slater is still as fresh as ever. I liked the robbery scene, especially with the first ambulance. That was really original and exciting. I can not understand how people can hate this movie, but finding something like a false move so good, I've found to be long, slow and boring. 9 / 10 from me. |
| I can not believe how bad is this movie! The characters and story are so superficial, if it were a pool of a mouse can not drown in it. I do not know who to blame, perhaps the director and editors, because this DVD film Run for the Money you never worry about any of the characters. blah. The plot is too silly. Maybe it was because of the dwarfs. I can not see how though. Daryl Hanna has always been an actor of questionable talent in my book, but the performance of Sarah Downing me want to throw rotten vegetables at her. Another reviewer thought that this DVD movie Run for the Money had an element of humor in it and I could not figure out why, but then I remembered the nature Jose. This character has nothing to do with anything. He was not funny. I'm not even sure if I was going to be really fun. His scenes could only have been funny if it was not well conceived. Once again, I can not believe how bad this Run for the Money movie is. Watch it if you want to punish yourself. |

| One of the more foolish, poorly executed and forgettable pieces of garbage I've seen in this century. Although Val Kilmer and Christian Slater have done their share of clinker prices, which have generally been more good than harm the movies, so I have no idea how much money or other lever is used to make the two to sign, in this poor little action crime dramedy. The camera work is not bad, but very passable and sometimes very colorful DVD movie Run for the Money (you've never seen life as a New Jersey trailer trash look so nice). But the plot is absolutely ridiculous and shameful, frankly unbelieveable executed script, dialogue, editing and rhythm. As for character development, the only person who had any sympathy for a cameo: Joseph, the poor of Mexico who had a funny scene wetback half on the sale of oranges halfway through the film. I never felt sorry for the Slater and her daughter in danger, the main protangonist innocent in the DivX film Run for the Money because the plot was so completely unbelievable twists with Wonky. Personally, that this image could be improved 200% with about 10 pages of very practical suggestions, reorderings scene, dialogue and other cosmetic changes. Do what the director and producers should do with this thing before it was ever to release or video, and a length of the incinerator and burn it! Val and Christian, shame on you for lending his name to this thing! |
