This film charts the rise and fall of Yuri Orlov, from his early days in the early 1980s in Little Odessa, selling guns to mobsters in his local neighbourhood, through to his ascension through the decade of excess and indulgence into the early 90s, where he forms a business partnership with an African warlord and his psychotic son. The film also charts his relationship through the years with his younger brother, his marriage to a famous model, his relentless pursuit by a determined federal agent and his inner demons that sway between his drive for success and the immorality of what he does.

While this is in some ways very typical "Nicholas Cage movie" in a sense, the facts related to the real world makes it interesting. Not that there would be no devastating news world, in fact nothing new to anyone interested in this field of study (in the world politics and the military) in any quantity. The main character's life, however, the DivX film Lord of War makes great fun to watch and keeps it interesting until the end. Once again, the end of the kind of Lord of War film follows the modern trend in the DVD movie Lord of War industry as far as I can see. Anyway, nothing devastating, but better than the "punishment of the film." Ability of people who like a bit of realism, emotion and without much thought of the blood-lust or shocking thriller effects.

Through the first viewing of the film, I felt for how Nicholas Cage has to make that effort to be portrayed as something a bit better than the latest manifestation of evil. In truth I do not believe that its distributors of weapons that cause the killing, but the way they are and just easier to point his finger and say this is wrong. On the other hand I am glad this DivX Movie Lord of War came at a time when Hollywood is a serious lack of interest or not so Cheesy scripts. The funny thing is that we need people like arms dealers to feel good about ourselves. Nicholas Cage was the performance of large and the issues addressed by this film: Lord of War are all part of the reality that people do not like familiar with. The Hallelujah, Jeff Buckley song is one of my favorites and music from the movie: Lord of War are generally very good.
