| I've always loved this film: Halloween and that's the way it will continue. John Carpenter has directed one of the best films in the world. I am not a fan of Halloween thinkthere you do not like this movie. Its entry until 30 years after his release and I'm only 14 so I could not be there for the release, but many movies are not good after a long time, but I would bet that this Halloween Horror movie is still going to have a enormous number of fans in 100 years. But I'm always for this movie. Halloween, but the films have nothing to do with the body count as you can see in this film, as his best Halloween movie (not including the version zombies stealing because I have not seen yet, because I live in the UK comes out on 28 October) I have seen and have the least amount of body count in the entire series. |
| Painfully slow. Perhaps I am a different generation, but this movie: Halloween is a little scary. Horrible do wrong direction until the ham acting. This Halloween Horror film is very overrated. The plot is good: an evil psychopath murderer born in the loose, but the villain is not unstoppable as someone who can dominate you like Jason in Friday 13th. Instead we have some pale-faced clown who can probably get beaten by a school yard bully. This is by far the worst horror DVD movie Halloween ever made because other bad horror movies are at least funny, but this is beyond boring. I swear, even a 4 years this is a waste of time. horror movies tend to have 2 or 3 scenes that are disturbing and to lurk for days if not weeks. But this film: Halloween has no definition of the scene or twist or anything that makes you think of the DivX Movie Halloween or to see him again. |
| I remember seeing for the first time. Or at least try. I was so scared the first time, seeing as I was. It gave me chills. This is one of the most shocking films ever made. You have the right atmosphere of fear, right score, right everything. It is low budget but does not seem bad. In fact .. that is a low-budget reality, he adds spectrum factor. This is an icon in the horror film: Halloween where the horror icon Michael Myers was born. I loooove the whole score of the film. The subject is large and the rest of the score is, too. If you like horror movies you'll love this movie. |
| Although John Carpenter, undoubtedly, was in his principal during this period (of Assault on Precinct 13 of the fog to the thing to Escape from New York), this Halloween film is, Halloween, which is its largest effort. Working from a viewpoint of narrative minimalism (in history, atmosphere, performance and perhaps more effective, Music), Carpenter creates a feeling of fear and foreboding that perfectly encapsulates the theme of Halloween. Take a look at the long and beautiful languid Steadicam shot, while the simplest of reasons melody plays in the background. The act by which the opening of Myers (as a child) murders his older sister's all in without taking a shot. It is beautiful and a classic example of why this Halloween Horror film is a product of a bygone era. The modern take on Hollywood horror never stand for that. We have been subjected to a thousand edits, loud music from alternative rock and everything that goes through the last of great talent booba these days ... What a shame ... Anyway, after seeing this movie: Halloween originally in around 1980 on TV when I was nine years old, this Halloween Horror short circuit in my mind much the same way that makes it even today. No small feat considering the case of twenty-five years later and I have cataloged countless films since that fateful day before. I applaud John Carpenter, for his excellent work here. If you're in the mood for a ghost story wrapped around an issue then Slasher Halloween is the movie. A classic set. Rating: thumbs up |
| I can not believe someone had the nerve to try and remake this classic John Carpenter. This movie: Halloween is excellent as a Halloween scary Halloween Horror movie all the way through. Jamie Lee Curtis really gained its fame for his role in this movie, at first. She is the nanny who keeps getting killed just missing. Donald Pleasance is excellent as the doctor who goes overboard and is making a career in pursuit of this murderer. A lot of aid is good at this. The main image for this DivX film Halloween that is ingrained in his head to see is the classic jack-o-lantern lit on the front porch of the house. It's just a symbolism that keeps the whole film. This is a modern classic that should be left to stand on its own merits. Even a second and see the subtle Carpenter catch put things in the movie: Halloween that you might have missed the first time. |
| This is probably one of the greatest horror movies I've seen, especially since the old school horror. John Carpenter helps prove an important point with this Halloween film - it does not need buckets of blood pouring from the bodies of the people to make a film: Halloween scary. You only saw one or two places where there was blood, and even then it was only enough for you to understand that the person was dead, which made the Halloween Horror movie very suspenseful. This DVD movie Halloween is what also helped create all the different parodies of "The murderer silent in the Mask 'series, like the Friday the 13th of 2-10, the Scream trilogy, and countless other examples that were not even half as good as Halloween. |
