| The desert. Kiefer Sutherland. Guns. If it does not "Truth or Consequences, NM" then it's another neo-noir thriller. Smooth murderer of Banks is a woman desperate to fulfill a contract in Mexico. Along the way, the woman gives you problems, the feds are after him, and doublecrosses loom in the distance. Standard, solid things that will appeal to those who like dark, unsentimental crime thriller. Kiefer leads the movie pretty well, bringing his intelligence and quiet seething masculinity to the role. A few minor slips, but a decent rotation and a good return rate to maintain the suspense and action moving quite well. It is worth the DVD rental. 7 / 10 |
| 3rd movie in my movie marathon Kiefer Sutherland. I have seen half of Kiefers movies and this movie is really good, but it was much better in this film one.Kiefer does a great job in acting in this movie and makes it looking good Melora Walters in the film The Good Butterfly Effect. There are some good scenes in this movie as if Kiefer shot a man in the bathroom and all the scenes at the end of the film are all so well. Over all this is a good film for Kiefer Sutherland and is worth renting and my rating is 6 out of 10. |
| The only reason I wanted to see this film is Kiefer Sutherland. There was much impressed me with his brilliant performance in Dark City, and I wanted to see more. As a result, the entire film was very good. The story is not too original, but it has a lot of twists and a very interesting main character. He is very good, especially of Sutherland. The film is well directed and not boring at all. the music is good, too. Recommended. |
| I bought the DVD as part of a package of promotion, looking for films that are unlikely to have much, but that would be entertaining enough to see while working on my cross-trainer (films would not want to waste time on something else). But man, I am wrong. Supplementing watching this horror. The positive thing is that anger and frustration built inside me while watching that could be unleashed in my routine (although I still have some left to write this commentary). But I was close to tearing it out of my DVD player and the destruction of the thing. A total embarrassment. I thought beforehand that it might even be an OK movie, like Keifer Sutherland is not without doubt the worst actor out there, but I am surprised that you have the job after taking part in this, this ... rrrrr. The acting and script are so painful, I was thinking at one point this must be a parody. But even then, he was a sick, sick joke. If you try to copy and other films, if you use so many cliches, at least (I mean, you have examples right?) Trying to reach a minimum level of quality. Enough time wasted on this. There is nothing that I can think of that might be a greater waste of time that this movie. Displaying flush the toilet for 88 minutes will be a better investment than watching this regard, pretentious, lifeless monstrosity. |
