| this movie was like a mixture of large and City Slickers Chill with a young demographic. I liked this movie and laughed quite a few times. I am a fan of Seth Green is too much and was up to his usual level. I have this movie in my collection of DVD's and I'm glad I do. is fun, intelligent, popcorn movie with some real laughs and light social satire. i was pleasantly surprised. i do not even mind the two women in the tree, which conform to the atmosphere of this movie. and that bear was too hilarious! Bart was that the bear? work hard! Good to see what its name away from the Scooby-Doo and movies. re is a watchable movie, in my opinion, and I would not mind seeing a sequel. |
| A trash movie, based on cliches to be aware of references to previous films. Three friends gather at his house-tree after the fourth funeral of a friend and agree to go on a quest to find DB Cooper's treasure. They get in a bad way by a river Whitewater, a bear, biker-producing giant pot (better players on their way to the top three men), and a renegade sheriff. They get help from two beautiful trees hippy Huggers and friend of Cooper, a hermit in the mountains (Burt Reynolds, who has the best part in the film). Along the way there are a lot of puerile humor, a lot of jokes and pratfalls, and self-discovery. There are some very funny lines and a couple of clever situations, but it's a big waste of time. The main actors are competent but not remarkable, Seth Green, which can be very funny, as is wasted little shy little boy. Although the film is intended to carry out in the Pacific Northwest in Oregon, there are palm trees to be seen along the river-banks. The credits reveal that he was killed at the scene in New Zealand. |
| I love this movie! It's a laugh out loud comedy that people of all ages can share. Matt Lillard shows that a very versatile actor who can act in any film or television program that exists. Seth Green is excellent, Dax Shephard was wonderful to play for the motorcycle lover Slack. There are many points of funny in the movie, my favorite has to be when it is running through the marijuana field and start getting all high off the fumes! This is a great LOL, as they all started acting goofy! Another memorable moment is when they're together in the desert and have to hug to stay warm (after having lost their clothes before). Burt Reynolds makes a memorable appearance as a hermit in the mountains, giving the children a shelter for the night. |
