| This Dragonheart Adventure movie is quite good. It uses technology to its fullest extent for the Dragon realistic. However, this was a movie: Dragonheart that should have used more character development, instead of relying only on special effects. the story was good, but could have used a little more development. Overall, this is a good film, and I enjoyed it. |
| This was a kind of Hokey-Class B-fantasy adventure story but with a degree of special effects (the dragon) and sound. The visual and audio tries to make it worthwhile. This was in early "demo" of the kind of DVD disc, showing an excellent surround sound when very few DVDs as audible sound. The story begins a bit slowly but once you see the dragon is a fun and fascinating Dragonheart Adventure film to watch. A decade ago, when this came out, I marveled, "It's unbelievable what they can do strange creatures in a natural way." Of course, FX has obtained only better and better. For me, the dragon was the only endearing character in the film. Dennis Quaid plays the good, but it's the most annoying here. I think it was fake his raspy voice that was irritating. In all, a fun movie. In any case, the Dragonheart Adventure movie is pure fantasy and medieval theology, but enough fun for kids and adults. There are no bad language in here. |
| There are a lot of movies about dinosaurs, dragons and huge reptiles, but with the exception of Jurassic Park, The Lost World and Jurassic Park III, most of them are terrible. Dragonheart is the great exception, but it is full of humor, adventure, fantasy (and still credibility) and has the best dragon ever rendered. The story is very good, too, that follows the personal evolution of a gentleman who is trying to eradicate the dragons of the Earth. It sounds simple, but there are a lot more. I am not going to say more, but if you have not seen it, you must, is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Draco rules! |
| Like others, I Dragonheart rate well above most mindless summer blockbusters, full of occurrences of hip and sarcastic heroes. Dragonheart is not cynical at all, and it is great fun for kids of all ages (why is this DVD movie Dragonheart PG13?). If you're looking for a really fierce dragon, Draco is not the same. Draco is far more humane than most of the dragon Dragonheart movie (if you want a fearsome dragon, see Dragonslayer), but it is very realistic. In fact, the scenes tend to drag on without him, but Dennis Quaid is Bowen's strong as disillusioned knight. If you are looking for a deep plot, that you will not find, but no big deal. Dragonheart is more about adventure and dragons on the plot that twists and in-depth characterizations. Edelman is the music for the vast majority of cases, especially in the final scenes, which I think are the best in the film. See for yourself. |
| There are many films about fantasy today that show to what extent the imagination of some people can be stretched. You need to have a balance of unpleasant a character that contains the exact amount of evil to comply with this. In the case of Dragonheart, we have the evil King Einon, demonstrated by David Thewlis. A good performance to show how much can be inflicted by the evil control of a cruel man. However, in each Dragonheart Adventure film we have a hero, or in this case, 2. Dennis Quaid plays Bowen, a strong and true gentleman who lives in the service to protect others. Our other hero is the unlikely nature of a dragon (Sean Connery and his beautiful voice) the name of Draco. Among these 2 hero, is a partnership and work together in the hope of making life better for people. The direction, acting, costumes and characters all fit together to make this movie, what I believe, an amazing success. I know that many are unable to agree with this, but I think that when you look deep into this movie, you can see the true magic that is carried live by the relationship between these two characters. In my opinion, an amazing movie, an amazing cast and a surprising result. |
