| Associated with its new kill, Dahl has two of the best neo-noirs outside. Western Brownfields are a pleasant change from the traditional urban noir setting. Great performance Boyle, before she became Skeletor for practice. Mr. Cage does a good job of getting pulled into the quicksand of the escalation of stupidity. | I arrived home late one night and turned on the TV to see Siskel and Ebert summary of their picks of the week. I have not heard anything about "Red Rock West", but two thumbs up and see before we left. Do not stay in theaters very long because of the distribution of money and lack of promotion, but said she deserves better. The next afternoon, I followed your advice. They were right, it was some of the most fun I've had in the movies. As some readers point out, there are a few plot holes and the last 10 minutes do not seem to never end. But it is worth, for the fine craftsmanship that went into the first hour. It is the best role I've seen by Nicholas Cage, but almost everyone seems perfectly cast. Dennis Hopper is almost over the top, which is silly, but enhances the effectiveness of everything else works. The decorations and music make a major contribution to almost all the scenes. When later rent for my family, it does not work so well. The long scenes that build tension in the theater are difficult to assess, with the distractions at home.
