| It's going to be difficult to do this without harming it, but here goes: The plot does not have a lot of sense, I must admit: there were more than a couple of times when I wondered aloud, "What is happening in this movie?" There are moments when history seems to assume that the viewer knows more about what is happening to me, as a spectator, in fact it did. Perhaps there was some cut scenes that should have been left, or maybe it was not fully paying attention. Anyway, I will not go back and see this movie again, because the bejesus scared of me. Now, I've been scared by the films before, but not many, I will not go into a list of what scares me and what has not, but ultimately takes much of a movie to scare me. This film did. Do not watch alone in the dark, with the blinds closed and crank the sound, because that's what I did and I think I have lived to regret it:) I give it 6 / 10, as it loses points for having a story difficult to follow, but earns points for being, frankly, a scare-fest. | It has been a long time since I've seen a movie and, indeed, I thought it was scary. I was very surprised when halfway through this film I thought I could have broken my husband's hand because he was pushing so hard. While the beginning of the movie is a bit slow, it throws along because you can sense something is going to happen. When you do, I was not disappointed at all. I thought it was great acting, in spite of Michael Keaton is not aging well. Was filmed entirely in Vancouver and was beautiful to watch. The traditional fear effects are used well and wisely and to jump, despite their preparation for the scare. While I am not a believer in ghosts, this movie made me think and question and always the fear white noise. |
| Bloody awesome movie! I had been anxious to see the direction of Geoffrey Sax is taken with this material, and I must say I am not disappointed at all. I'm not familiar with their other work so I can not comment on that, but I've been interested in EVP for a while and have been doing a little research on it. When I heard about this movie and the whole premise that he could not wait to finally hit the theater. Michael Keaton plays the part of Jonathan Rivers, an architect who tragically lost his wife in a mysterious murder. During the police investigation on the location of his wife he was approached by a man who claims to have had contact through its Executive Vice President. This is where the real fun begins. Geoffrey Sax succeeded in creating scenes so intense that even though he knew that something was about to happen, even if it did jumped. The latest movie-related ghost I saw that I really was scared Legend of Hell House. Both completed the tasks of making me hold my breath for long periods of time and my heart beat a mile a minute in anticipation of what was about to happen. I recommend this movie for anyone who enjoys the merde get scared of them, those who have a fascination with EVP and those who just love ghost movies in general. Excellent casting, excellent performance and superb leadership. 8 / 10 |
| well .. I loved this movie! If you are fascinated with EVP then you should see, what I am. And yes, there was a conspiracy .. the plot was his wife had disappeared and that she was trying to return to him and tell him to other dangers in its path. You simply do not know what is the point and I think you need to keep the Harry Potter movies. one of the reasons that I loved this movie is that Michael Keaton was in it. he is my favorite actor of all time and no matter how bad this movie was to everybody, he did a great job on equal john rivers. I am really thinking of going to see again this Saturday, Jan. 21. I loved it .. and I am still lost at the point, but good luck with the children of Harry Potter movies! |
