| AH-NULD plays a former soldier of fortune named John Matrix, who now lives an idyllic life in a forest in California with daughter Jenny (Alyssa Milano). Shortly after the film begins, Jenny is kidnapped by thugs who represent a dictator (Dan Hedaya), the dictator wants Matrix to assassinate a politician and kill Jenny if he does not. No prizes for guessing that the parent slips from their claws, with the help of Feisty hostess Cindy (Rae Dawn Chong) who sets out on a corpse-riddled rescue mission. Extremely stupid and unrealistic, but it's so damn FUNNY. Is clever and energetic, lively and how can a fan of the action is not amused by an irreverent and violent AH-NULD vehicle? His supporting cast is all fantastic, especially the villains ( "Bennett", played by Aussie Vernon Wells, is hilariously campy). And as I said, the film has a steady flow of a quotable line, most of them AH-NULD's. The film is so funny that you have an advantage over similar issues "Rambo: First Blood Part II", published the same year (RFPII really took seriously). My favorite line - the last - when Matrix defeats Bennett - is even more fun because AH-NULD says with a straight face. The opening credits feature cornily a "nice" Matrix assembly and participation by Jenny - but the film represents for him soon enough. 8 / 10 |
| Arnold literally blows the hell of those present at what he has to be one of his best films and one of the all-time great old-fashioned action films with non-CGI. The plot is simple: Arnold's daughter is kidnapped by 2 lunatic ill and he wants it back! In less than 90 minutes this film is pure entertainment at all levels. The action is impressive, a line are the most fun I've ever seen, and the villains are complete psychos, especially Bennett. Anyway, the best bit has to be the last 20 minutes or so when Arnold gets all the weapons they can find: rocket launchers, machine guns, bombs, grenades, guns in hand to name, and takes on an army of about 50 men. This movie is just meant to be fun and entertaining and will certainly do so. Its aims to be affected and not too serious and that is why I love so much. Therefore, gentlemen, ladies, or even grab your beer and popcorn and prepare to spend 90 minutes with the time of your life! |
| In a nutshell, I call this movie the total package. I mean, not only to get the best film of all time, but you also get the most versatile, well-rounded player since the beginning of sound in the cinema. I laughed, I cried ... became a part of me. |
| With a lot of guns, special effects and, of course, a complicated dialogue of Arnold, there is nothing lacking in this movie (except maybe a little more depth). Arnie fans love, and remember, it's just a bit of fun action. |
| This is probably the best film that Arnold Schwarzenegger has done (even surpassing T2), not because I have some plot development, realistic action sequences, or anything else that you might expect, but because it is very funny. The amount of per-laugh-aloud moments in the command is on a par with Monty Python And The Holy Grail, Borat, and other films. Yes, that is funny. What other action of the film opens with the hero and his daughter feeding a deer and licking ice cream? What other lines of the film is "I eat green berets for breakfast. And now I'm very hungry"? And Arnold, as John Matrix, dodging bullets was (and killing the population of a small country) long before it was even born Neo hell. Command also has one of the best bad of all time in Bennett. This man is so hard that leads the chain mail, and feeds electric shocks. And do not shoot people between the eyes, it triggers among the balls! See this movie, you will not be disappointed. |
| I loved this movie when I saw him! Arnold Schwarzenneger has to be the best movie ever! Arnold plays a human killing machine who's daughter (played by Alliss Milano) is kidnapped by his old nemesis. Arnold, along with a woman who kidnaps type (played by Rae Dawn Chong), does what she does to save his dughter. There are lots of great fight scenes in this movie, like when you're fighting against Arnold Cook (played by Bill Duke) in the motel, where they try to boost the living hell out of each other. They accidentally shoot down the door of two newlyweds (I will not say what they were doing), but finally leaving the room. As usual, Ah-Nold wins. Another good scene of the fighting is the ending scene when Arnold is going to kill a frenzy to reach his daughter. Ah no, Nold some incredible feats as a type of arm cut off, cut the portion of a type of head, hitting a flea in someone, and shooting the living hell for everyone else. This film is truly one of Arnold Schwarzenneger the best movies ever (besides the Terminator movies and True Lies) and almost any other movie can overcome this. 10/10 |
