| Well, for this abomination of a movie, I did not expect anything good. I think Steve Carell upset, and Bruce Almighty was pretty good, but there is absolutely no reason to have a sequel. In some ways, this movie was even lower than my expectations, even when I did not have any. Does anyone remember the movie from Disney Noah with Tony Danza? Well, let's say that Evan Almighty is completely torn off in too many ways for the film is still justifiable. Evan Almighty actually had exactly the same plot outline as Noah, with the exception of a few technicians, was nothing but a copy of a far higher that the film was actually FUNNY. Otherwise, anyone get sick of Wanda Sykes' stupid, unfunny, redundant, a line literally in every scene? It is completely ridiculous and just drag the movie into more and more. Despite the fact that basically had already seen the film ten years before (Noah), Evan Almighty has to be the most predictable movie I've ever seen. I figured that the whole film from start to finish within the first five minutes and finally realized that it was outside ripping Noah left and right. In conclusion, if you're a little uncertain whether or not to see Evan Almighty, and they are already sick of Jonah Hill playing the same role in every movie in which, like Bruce Almighty, and do not want to see a predictable, dry, unfunny movie with Steve Carell trying to act like Jim Carrey, then please, do not see this piece of garbage. |
| I have not seen Bruce Almighty. Unlike almost everyone else who went to this movie I did not have anything to compare with the expectations and not on the basis of the previous film. I have a feeling of what people are expecting a frenetic, high ensartar, dizzy, laughing a nano-second experience. If that's what you expect, then you will be disappointed. What is expected is based on what I saw in the trailers for this movie - ordinary type is visited by God, God tells him to build a ship, the boy's beard and hair grow and animals are shown. I also expect some fun stuff. The film about the history of delivery in nature, in relationships. It has an element of threat and anticipation. Have fun and it has heart. It is also a movie that you can take your kids, which is kind of weird these days. I liked this movie. Set aside their expectations of Jim Carrey and you can enjoy it, too. |
| Some say a comedy ... this can not be categorized as a comedy, pure and not come into the picture of Bruce Almighty and Steve Carell but strove not to coincide with Jim Carrey. This is not a pure comedy and has its own emotional scenes to combat the feelings of his comic while watching the movie ..... Buy your popcorn and drink before going to the movie and does not expect to have a pain in the gut, as it does not make a big laugh in the same year. However, it has had with his pace, being a film of less than 100 minutes added to their advantage. He has a good script and a very happy feeling at the end of the movie ... | I very much enjoyed Bruce Almighty, but the minute I heard that was going to be a sequel without Jim Carey, I knew it was bad. While Steve Carell was hysterical in the first movie (the babbling stage is one of my favorites), and in my opinion, deserves an Emmy for his role in the office, which is quite weak in this dull comedy. I am curious how much work screenwriters, because it could very well do without history. But even if you discount the huge plot holes (why do the elephants and lions come to Evan for help when the flood just concerned that particular area of Washington) the film is simply ... not funny. I did not laugh once, and as far as I remember, a comedy is supposed to make you laugh. Giggles or at least. This is not one. There is hope, however small. Evan Almighty has "family" written all over television and maybe a family can be enjoyable, (the children might be amused by the variety of animals and silly jokes), but, for me, Evan Almighty is simply not cut. I give it 4 / 10 and the hope that Carell will be more careful in choosing his roles in the function. |
| This film proved to be a little better than I thought. Steve Carroll was funny as usual. The animals were cool too. Some of them were real, but many of them computer generated. I thought the movie sends a good message. That spending family time is important and that is what God was trying to teach Baxter. I liked the part that Evan could not cut his hair or beard, and then to effect Moises robes added. I have to take away some praise, albeit with all the floating ark, but Washington DC. That was just silly. Wanda Sikes is also some good coating. FINAL VERDICT: More entertainment for children. It's good to see once, but not good enough for more displays. |
| Newly elected to Washington DC as a congressman, Evan has left Buffalo, New York, in search of greater calling. But that was not called to serve in the illustrious ranks of American politics, but was summoned by the Almighty, who has handed Evan the task of building a new ark, as Noah did before. With time passing by and his family belittled by Evan the new realization, Evan will have to do the work that God has given him in what promises to be an unusual adventure for a man who only wanted to serve their country, they might actually be serving to humanity. the main problem with this movie is the good part is like waiting for the flood in the future. Carrell seems very moderate in their role, and it seems that has not been given free rein to flow as seen in films like Anchorman and the 40-year-old virgin. in the original, Evan was considered the villain of the image in order to make the most hated character in the original hero of the new film is very silly, but unique idea. The film is directed exclusively to children, but many of the jokes that go way over your head (the 40-year-old virgin Mary? Evans wife is named Joan (the ark), but the main show is saved for the imminent Flood, where probably most of the budget has been spent. but by then it's a case of too little, too late. an average of soft comedy, with a sickly sweet message at the end. |
