| I loved Accepted and Superba. Steve Zahn is usually very funny. However, I can not believe that wasted nearly 2 hours of my life in this movie! The only funny parts were the voice credits, many of whom had already seen in trailers. I was tempted to get up and leave in the middle, OK, to be honest - the first 20 minutes of this movie. I brave my way through the film instead. If someone offered me $ 100 to sit through this movie again, he would have to turn for them. Seriously, this is one of the worst movies I've Saturday through honesty, and I think that they have become more stupid to do. Please save your money and your brain cells! |
| "Strange Wilderness" has a very simplistic script, the search for "Bigfoot" to save an "amazing animals" type of television to be canceled. There are some seriously funny bits connected by a flimsy premise, but who cares, if it is funny, the ridiculous plot simply adds to the fun. If you love movies like "Idiocracy" and then "Strange Wilderness" is for you. What we like about a movie that Spoofs in a very intelligent, all the "Animal Kingdom" episode you can think of? If you go in hopes of stupidity, simplemindedness, and some really funny parts, you will not be disappointed ...... Recommended. - MERK |
| Peter (Steve Zahn) is always tried (though not enough) to be as good as his father documentary filmmaker, who used to host a show about animals in the jungles. But Peter is lazy, incoherent and half the time and Stoner, but does not stop the show to continue ... which is entitled "Strange Wildnerness." However, when Peter discovers Network Television executive Ed Lawson (Jeff Garlin) wants to cancel its program, because nobody watches the show and it is always more inane as well. However, Peter Lawson gives a last chance to save his show, if done seriously. When Peter discovers "Bigfoot" in reality there since his father's old friends (Joe Don Baker), but only seen in South America. Now Peter and his documentary crew (Allen Covert, Johan Hill, Justin Long, Kevin Heffernan, Ashley Scott and Peter Dante) are leaving with Peter to find out if it really exists, but that has all sorts of problems along the way. Directed by Fred Wolf (The House Bunny) made a watchable but occasionally funny comedy that has some great gags. The division made this movie worth seeing at least ... once. But the screenplay by Peter Gaulke and director (Ice Age: The Meltdown, Black Knight, saying that it does not) that has some major problems. For a Happy Madison production, I was certainly expecting a lot better. "Strange Wilderness" is definitely a lame, but the comedy is possible to find a smile while looking into this mess and is likely to laugh a few times too. Panavision. (** ½/*****). |
