I am indebted to IMDb, for having the nous to a depth 100! Trawling through some of the detrious brought memories of bad movie that I thought I had forgotten, but unfortunately, the nightmares are coming back, kicking with this effort. The first question has to start with a "Why another sequel?" The second question would be "Will there be more?" Third Question: "Why?" The original was a PA Hoot, up there with the animals and the House of Porkys, the expected sequel Toooooo was not bad, as sequels go. But really, for the 3rd episode has had to ask for further studies decieve an audience with such duds. "6" was terrible, I have not seen "7", although I suspect it is not better. These actors have no pride? Would not it be more respectable if they returned to soaps and commercial! "6" just is not worth talking, and in anycase only saw the first 45 minutes before I realized I was not going to get any better. NAFF! */***** |
Police Academy 6 is a good piece of social commentary. It is analytical in his approach to two sections of modern society on opposite sides and the eternal struggle between them. Director Peter Bonerz goes straight to the jugular in its approach to people struggling against authority, (for example: Hightower breaking his leg on Harris' desk.) However, this battle must be fought with the demoralized underclass, they have taken large theft. These are not stereotypical villains. Peter Bonerz infuses his character with a dynamic and dramatic skills. Somersaulting bank raids were the order of the day here. More interesting, however, is the neo-classical way in which the films villain is unmasked, echoes the pantomime of the nineteenth century abound. On the whole, a rewarding experience for those of us who have had their fill of unfunny comedy productions. |
but on the other side is not the funniest movie ever made and it is only a rehash of the last 5 films, but it is still good and worth seeing if you have nothing better to do and obiously if you've seen the first 5. No is not much of a story, but what is it that consists of a band of 3 thugs who work for a great lord lowering the price of the properties for a course on crime throughout the city wave with the Academy the only people who can stop them. . And that's all there is of course a lot of slaptick mainly to the inept captain Harris and partner LT.Proctor. Most of the other remains normal What cast with Bubba Smith (Hightower) doing his thing strong man, Leslie Easterbrook (Callahan) by his strong kicking ass woman-thing and The late David Graf (Tackleberry) doing his gung-ho - kicking your ass things we've seen in all the other 5 films so it could get tired of the difficulty of pleasing the critics, but for a bit of light entertainment that does not tax your brain is almost too Unbeatable My vote together as they punishment 7 / 10. Followed by the Police Academy 7: Mission to Moscow the last movie that flopped at the box office (perhaps it was an academy for many fans of the movies that although he had suffered enough) |
I laughed at many of the things in this movie. was not the police academy 1 or 2, but it was a police academy and was the best of the worst * of them. There are some points where I thought to myself 'why do they do? " and "Why not?" but sometimes it was very funny. Michael Winslow was impressive when he played RoboCop scared and kind and the fight was when he made the shoe squeaky sound for a guy who walked by. that never fails to make me laugh in any movie. acting: 6 / 10 humor: 6.5/10 total: 6.25/10 definitely the best of the worst * of the police academies * Worse: the police academy 4-7 |
This film seemed kind of tacked it to me. It does not seem the same without Steve Guttenberg around. I almost seemed like the study of tacks in this movie just to tie the loose ends, which should just let the series go to the Police Academy V. |
