| Why am I seen raising his voice? We had a DVD just lying about the house and I was so bored without cable that one day I decided to see it. Anyway, the film is about Terri Fletcher (Hilary Duff), whose brother Paul (Jason Ritter) dies in a car accident and it is also accepted at a music school. Etc etc. .. I think the bad casting in the film was the election of Hilary Terri because all papers are so similar and gets annoying. Oh, and some of the songs is, obviously, because it does not sound like singing before now, if you get what I mean. And a little upset the way in 1 / 3 to 1 / 2 the film what it's doing is mourn. The other actors / actresses are very good - Oliver James, Dana Davis, John Corbett, etcc ... and much more. I kind of wish that was not so predictable. But at least that in the end, the award went to Denise:) BTW, I am a little confused. I read in a magazine and on the back of the DVD cover and they say Ashlee Simpson is in the movie. | I thought it was impossible for Hilary Duff movie to get worse, but raise your voice shows that it is possible. First, let me say that I am not an anti-Hilary person. I am an anti-Hilary MOVEMENT person. And it's so sad to call this a film Hilary best ever. The early scenes are quite good. Hilary shows us that she can act at least. But then the rest of the movie takes a turn and just watching Terri Fletcher around the world. Even if Hilary is the star of the show, this does not mean that the entire movie has to be focused on it (as in all movies of Hilary Duff). At the music school, all students are talented, with the exception of Hilary Duff. She can not sing, and the first classes are singing a song in chorus, but never really see them perform this song. Then there's the oh-so-bound to the seduction of James Oliver, and, of course, Hilary comes in and sees them, cries and runs. Wow, that was not expected. Finally, we see the grand finale where the students give a show. We see a number of talented musicians ... and then comes Hilary Duff. That song was nothing special ... in fact, not even a good song. Surprise, surprise, not winning violinist and won. On the one hand, Terri Hatcher (Hillary Duff) is facing Corgon Jay (Oliver James) after entering some tor fight hissy fit about something. | Yes. I am almost shouting why I hate this movie. Here's why I did not like it: 1. Too cliché. 2. If Teri's voice is so good why'd make this movie horribly? 3. Acting is wrong with this movie. 4. The beginning seemed fine but then it became difficult after Teri meets Jay. 9. Teri cries too little about each thing. Robin, News, Jay 'trap'. 10. How can the whole world, at the same time, all instruments playing? 11. If you look at www.rottentomatoes.com, the film is always about 12% -24% by critics and users 48% 12. The father is too over-protective. 13. On average ..... this movie has done a god Disney Channel movie, not a nation-wide premiere throughout the world kind of thing. 14. The only people who like this movie that I have ever met are people ages 6-10 15. Songs from the movie were nothing but Cheesy GARBAGE! These are my reasons.
