| What possessed me to see this movie, I still do not know, but I saw it, however. I had seen of species and thought it was very bad. I hoped that this average can not get any worse. Could. The numbers were pulled out someone in the nose (for want of a better body part) - I mean, to get to Mars 1 billion years ago? Who invented the number written in all, one of the biggest no-no on whether you want to use "scientific" data. And it's not just the numbers, is all that smells of manufacture: the series, the characters, dialogue, everything! Every bit only comes across as false, which is the kiss of death for any movie. Sci-fi films can be very good. You can suck and that will not let you go until the credits are rolling. Species II did not do it. Not attracting that repels. |
| OK, so it's not great art, but surely that was an interesting movie. I'm not overwhelmed with the fact see this as a sequel, as I have not seen the original, so the fee that can on their own. There is little history here. Aliens invade U.S. through astronaut. Austronat races spead profusely to the species. Anti-hero astronaut on hunting with the aid of fellow astronaut immune. I like Michael Madsen and I thought he did a fair job. He was assisted by Mykelti Williamson, who has sickle-cell trait, which is the key to the film. Marg Helgenberger of CSI makes a James Woods (John Carpenter vampire), which could lead to a sequel. Natasha Henstridge, what can I say, simply incredible. No Oscars for this movie, but definitely some Golden Globes: Nancy La Scala, Raquel Gardner, and Felicia Deel. |
| Scream 2 in the "horror movie geek" is a formula that this film follows the letter. More blood, more blood, more screaming, more sex and more murderers. I have seen only a few good sequels in my time, unfortunately this is not one of them. A bad movie! (But if you like Natasha H. there are more scenes with nudity in this movie, but I hope it is not enough to make this a good movie.) |
| The first part was one of the best science-fiction films I've ever seen. However, Part 2 is definitely one of the worst. I do not know what the MGM was thinking, do not read the script? Is not that predict how horrible it was going to be? Many of the acting was bad, the dialogue was terrible, it was just an excuse to show a bunch of naked women (there's nothing wrong with that, but for some movies is not). I am praying to all who read this before seeing the movie, I can not see it, for the love of God! |
| I can not believe this fact the big screen. This movie should have gone directly to the tape, is simply atrocious. Everything about this movie is bad, the acting (what little there is), history (what little there is) and special effects. The only thing it achieves is to be a total gross-out. If you like sex scenes steam and then to see women get maimed during childbirth, this movie is for you! Even if you only saw this movie to see Natasha H. get naked, you probably do not even have been disappointed! And the final, where foreigners have sex is simply the stupidist I've seen. The special effects look like a cheap rip-off of Aliens and how the male species Eva asphyxiation with what looks like a phallic Tentacle is beyond silly. I can not recommend this movie to anyone. |
| It's back! The femme fatal abroad has returned to wreak havoc once again. This time it is the east coast. Most of the original cast of the first "Species" movie Helgenberger Madsen and return with the help of an astronaut from the Gamble (Mykelti Williamsom, TV of "The Bronx Zoo," "Midnight Caller" and the hit movie, "Forrest Gump") that helps the military to stop the infection of the astronaut who sow terror. Eva clone of Sil (Henstridge) is controlled by comparison with Sil. But when men are around, look out! Aware that he had another weapon against Asronaut Ross (Justin Lazard), there is hope. Gamble was the blood of Ross' Achilles heel. And when Ross and Eve were obtained, the time has come to act quickly. And how. I know it's brutal when Lennox Gamble stabbed with pitchfork. At least it's better to cut a major vein or Gamble which has bled to death. Gamble has the blood from sickle cell, said Lennox use its blood-stained and Gamble machete with her just for good measure. At least the results were different from the first, remains a fun movie to see, and there was little harder than the first. Enjoy it, if you dare! Rating 3 out of 5 stars! |
