| Unfortunately I was not impressed at all with this so-called "blockbuster" movie, as I thought it was a remake of Adrian Lynne 80 cult classic and "Fatal Attraction." As I watched, everything seemed so familiar, the 'bad girl' thriller has been seen before, and the only way this is different from all others is that it is set in high school. If it is Anitha make this one of the classics from high school, has failed disastrously. For people who think this movie was great, it must first leave "fatal attraction" - the concept is the same. Madison-Erika Christensen plays Glen Close's character, Ben - Jesse Bradford plays Michael Douglas character, and Amy - Shiri Appelby plays Anne Archer's character. | This film is much more than suspenseful "The Crush." Hey, is even better than "The Crush." Instead of having to adults is, that there is teenagers. You have a son (Ben), that swimming for a scholarship, have a good girlfriend (Amy) to back it up all the way, what more can a man want? Then there is a femme fatal (Madison Belle), that the eyes of the unsuspecting jockey who has it all. I mean if Ben does not have good friends, he has been a wash. His friends were right by their side when they broke Madison Belle along with his cousin. The cousin was the second major help from the film and I think it deserves credit for helping Ben out. The biggest gain of all was when Ben takes his girlfriend drown by that horrible Madison. This movie was much closer to "Fatal Attraction" from "The Crush" never was. Plus it's worth the time. 8 out of 10. |
| Basically, if you have seen or heard from Fatal Attraction, this is the same film. The high school athlete with a great future and has a girlfriend a big night with the new girl in school. Of course, she becomes insane, and begins to demand things from Bradford, as it slowly destroys her life. And yes, this is another film that if you just told the truth and admitted his mistake, the whole film would be more. And if you can guess that this film is that it does not need to bother him. | Having recently seen Jesse Bradford as Rene Gagnon in the Clint Eastwood for Flags of Our Fathers and was impressed that I decided to leave Swimfan. Jesse is the object of obsession for Erika Christiansen, a young woman more concerned that there was a tragedy that most of the cast do not know, but who really unhinges her.
